Lucky Thirteen

Thirteen years ago today, I married Sally. She’s the hot one holding hands with the goofy looking red head. It’s been thirteen wondrous years together, full of love and fun and joy. I look forward to the rest of my life with her.

The photo is from our ten year anniversary. For that, we got dressed up and invited a few of our closest friends to celebrate with us. As I recall, a grand time was had by all and the wine flowed freely, as you can clearly see in my eyes. What can I say, it was good wine. Life is too short not to have good wine and frankly Oregon makes a wide variety of good wine, of which a representative sample was had that day.

I think I’ve made my point here. Oh and rather than receive gifts, we held a raffle, making sure every single person and every couple left with something.

Tenth Wedding Anniversary

I love you sweetie.

Lucky Thirteen – absolutely! For me, my luck began the day you walked into my interview. I have loved you deeply during our 18 years together and look forward to loving you forever…

Congratulations. You are a lucky guy, Roger. Sally is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and she must really love you to have stuck around for three more years after seeing you in the kilt that is not visible in the picture above.

  3. Roger says:

Heh, almost used another picture that showed said kilt. But yes, she sticks with me even when I wear my kilt, as I did this past Saturday.
